Imagination and the English Language

I logged onto facebook today, as I often do, and began to waste my time. I was reading through the recent status updates of various friends of mine, when I came upon this one:

"Rolling along; not enjoying the nice cold spell that is supposed to end tomorrow! Hmmm... hundle up and stay warm I guess..."

Hundle? Was this a clever Carrollian combination of huddle and bundle, or the unintentional use of a nonexistent word? I was leaning more towards the latter, but I decided to investigate before coming to any conclusions. I googled the word, and although no official dictionary full of real words had anything to say, urban dictionary offered some valuable insight.

1.hundle

v.: 1.) to rub on a potatoe vigorously

2.) to ravenously gun down a beaver

I really like both of these definitions.

Sweet Shire Sunshine

Sometimes I find myself wishing the Shire were real in such a desperate way that it hurts me. Don't judge. If you thought about it long enough and really realized what we're missing out on, you'd think the same thing. I've also been considering recording a music video to post on youtube, but I always come around to remembering that I don't have enough costumes. If I ever direct my own music video, there will be costumes. Animal costumes. Or beast costumes. I guess that's the same thing.

List of the Day

11 things on my mind at the moment

1. Now Now Every Children is a good band if you're into droning indie pop rock.
2. 81 is way too hot to set the thermostat at in your house, especially if there are ventilation problems.
3. I won $2.50 at the casino today, which in turn paid for two delicious cheeseburgers from Burger King, which I've been craving for quite some time.
4. I need to write the music for the wedding...
5. I wish I could find my little black notebook that has my ideas in it.
6. Kelsey got contacts.
7. I wish Middle Earth was real, and that I was apart of it.
8. I'm looking forward to reading my Winnie-the-Pooh book.
9. I'd like to go fishing right now in a little boat of my own.
10. I need to get a sweet boat!
11. I love Oklahoma, although it's been getting pretty hot lately.

Hmm...

As of right now, I don't have anything of importance to say yet. But do not fear... glorious insight will come soon.
